Returns

In general, if you have a question or are unhappy, email us at hello@ficksmusic.com. We try our best to make sure you are 100% happy with everything you get from us; if you're not, we want to make it right. We know that sometimes people buy the wrong item -- it can be confusing! We get it. We've done it. We'll work with you to fix the problem.

Go to https://www.ficksmusic.com/pages/returns-and-refunds to get started. Please ensure that the packaging is sufficient such that the item arrives to us in new condition.

What Can I Return?

For most items, we allow returns on any new, unused item indefinitely! For instruments, we have to limit the return window to 30 days and they must be returned in new condition.

To be clear, used rosin, strings, reeds, and mouthpieces may not be used if you want to return them.

Who Pays the Return Shipping Cost?

  1. If it was our mistake (wrong item, bad information on website, etc.) or the product arrived damaged, return shipping is on us.
  2. If you've just changed your mind, we simply ask that you pay the return shipping.

Refunds

There are certain situations where no refund or only partial refunds are granted:

  • Items with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of your refund.

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  • First, check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@ficksmusic.com.
