Description

The Ghost of Peggy's Cove: The tragic story of a woman, Margaret, who had traveled from Europe to Canada, hoping for a better life. Settling in the Village of "Peggy's Cove", Nova Scotia, she married a local man, and all was happy. One day, in sadness, she was sitting on the rocks, daydreaming of her former home. To cheer her tears, her husband did a dance on the slippery rocks and fell and died of his injuries. The locals found him later, but there was no sign of her. Some say that she felt responsible for his death, and took her own life by jumping into the sea. To this day, she may be seen on the rocks, on a foggy day.
