Description

This arrangement of ‘Seasons' and ‘Little Cabbage' from (Three Songs for Pipa and Cello was commissioned by the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Music Director. The original work was written for Yo-Yo Ma and Wu Man for performance at the White House during a state dinner hosted by President Clinton for the Chinese Premiere Zhu Rong Ji on 8 April, 1999.
