Description
Lockdown is a micro-variation on Paganini's Caprice No. 24, one of 12 variations commissioned by Fenella Humphreys for her solo album Caprices, released on Rubicon Classics in March 2022. Its title serves as a reminder that I worked on this piece at the very beginning of the first UK coronavirus lockdown, completing the variation on 30 March 2020.
