Description
Instruments needed: bamboo chimes, temple blocks, toms, snare drum, hi-hat, Vibraslap, brass chimes, monkey drum, tuned gongs, vibraphone, crotale, cowbell, and a Flexatone.
'The score contains a notation key, mallet selections and a drawing of the suggested setup. This extremely complex composition will challenge any percussionist. To connectwith the work, an audience would need to have some understanding of the rhythmic basis of the piece. [Composed on the principle of medieval isorhythm, where a given tone row is 'transferred' on to a given rhythm.]'--Tom Morgan, Percussive Notes, December 2007
